The progress of time really seems strange these days. I have been working on two things since the last update.
First, is the post-mortem for Starcom: Nexus which will describe my journey in making the game, what I learned, what went wrong, what went well, etc. It’s almost done.
Second, I’ve begun implementing some UI tools for the next game. Unity (the game engine I’m using) has improved its UI systems in the past few years, but it still lacks a number of built-in general purpose components that I expect to need with the new content creation system.
So far I’ve created:
- Tree menu system
- Basic forms
These are nowhere near as sophisticated as what you might get from a modern UI toolkit but should work for my purposes.
